Influence of Phosphorus and Iron on Yield and Economics of Lentil (Lens culinaris L.)

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi 2022 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P) on the topic “Influence Phosphorus and Iron Yield Economics Lentil (Lens culinaris L.)”, to study treatments consisting three levels viz. 20 kg, 30 kg 50 kg/ha 5, 10 kg/ha. The soil experimental plot sandy loam in texture, nearly neutral reaction (pH 7.1), low organic carbon (0.28 %), available N (225 kg/ha), P (19.50 kg/ha) K (92 kg/ha). There were each being replicated thrice laid out Randomized Block Design. results revealed that treatment 9 (Phosphorus + FeSO4 recorded significantly number pods/plant (113.07), seeds/pod (1.93), Test weight (31.20 g), seed yield (1.25 Stover (2.07 harvest index (37.67 gross returns (1,00,266.67 INR/ha), net (66,866.71 INR/ha) B:C ratio (2.00) as compared other treatments.
